Responsible Pet Ownership: Second Veterinary Operation

Residents of Los Palos, Puerto Aysén and surrounding areas participated with their pets in a new veterinary operation organized by the Kreen Foundation in conjunction with the Municipality of Aysén within the framework of the program “Links for multi-species coexistence”.

The activity was supported by veterinarian Angélica Hidalgo, who heads the municipality’s Responsible Pet Ownership Program (PTRAC), and by the Laguna and Ríos Los Palos Development Committee, led by Lorena Pladellorens.

During the event, antiparasitic treatments and vaccinations were administered, and medical evaluations were performed on the dogs and cats that arrived with their owners at the La Pancha barbecue area.

This initiative seeks to contribute to the balance between animal, human and environmental well-being, three interdependent areas that together are known under the concept of ONE Health.
