Fundación Kreen and AyCiencia tell the story of Chiqui, a dog rescued from the street
October 8, 2024As part of the Healthy Footprints initiative of the Kreen Foundation, boys and girls from the Poetisa Gabriela Mistral School and the Ribera Sur Basic School of Puerto Aysén participated in the Storytelling Workshop, carried out in conjunction with the AyCiencia Foundation.
Leyla Nates, an experienced storyteller, was in charge of narrating the story of La Chiqui, the true story of a little dog rescued from the streets.
The purpose of the activity was to teach students about the needs of pets and how connecting with animals contributes to the well-being of everyone and our environment. They participated in an educational game and also had the opportunity to meet Chiqui the dog in person.
All of this is within the framework of the Kreen Foundation’s program “Links for multi-species coexistence,” which, among other objectives, seeks to promote responsible pet ownership and, in this way, contribute to the balance between human health, animal health, and the health of ecosystems, which we know under the concept of UNA Health.
