Baseline Summary
The Meullín–Puye Nature Sanctuary (SNMP) is a unique site due to its high ecological value, minimal human intervention, and strong potential for research. It was designated under this protection category in April 2022, under the oversight of the National Monuments Council and administered by Fundación Kreen.
For this reason, the Kreen team promoted the development of the Baseline Study during 2021 and 2022, with the objective of identifying and establishing the current condition of the Conservation Objects (COs) present within this protected area.
The following document compiles and summarizes the main results of the baseline study, which was carried out by the consultancy Photosíntesis.
